Principal's Message: News about Rahn Elementary leadership

Dear Rahn Elementary Community,

I’m writing to let you know that I’ve recently accepted a new leadership position in another school district. 

It’s been my pleasure to serve as principal of Rahn Elementary School over the past eight years, getting to know the incredible talent and brilliance of both our staff members and our students and families. I was incredibly proud - but not surprised - last fall when that brilliance was affirmed as Rahn was named a Minnesota School of Excellence. 

You all earned that, and I have no doubt that this community will continue to do great things going forward.

Officially, my last day as principal at Rahn will be Friday, July 10. I know that District 191 will be moving forward as quickly as possible to identify the next principal and ensure the school keeps its momentum. Please watch for more information as that process moves forward. 

Thank you for all your support over the past eight years. I appreciate all of you and will always think fondly of my time as a member of this special community.
